Lead paragraph
Address habitat degradation in Yakamia Creek by curbing sediment and nutrient inflows and increasing native habitat for species.
The project will also provide community benefits by augmenting public green and blue space.

Led by South Coast Natural Resource Management (NRM), this project will be delivered over 4 years, in partnership with the Australian Government, the Department of Water and the City of Albany.
The project will restore habitat and ecosystem function to the upper reach of the creek by creating living wetlands and living streams across four sites:
1. Barnesby Drive Stage 1 living stream
2. Barnesby Drive Stage 2 living stream
3. Whidby St living wetland
4. Dunn Park Broughton St living wetland
The following tasks relate to the City of Albany's project deliverables.
