Representatives from a broad range of teams across the City meet every 2 months to develop and implement sustainability issues.
A 24.5% reduction across all teams was achieved over a 6 month period.
The Green Team is trialling a Corporate Uniform Recycling arrangement with UPPAREL. A box is being rotated around City work sites to collect old and worn out uniforms to be recycled into a fibre that will be used for packaging, acoustic panelling and more.
